St. Andrew's Episcopal School is a coeducational college preparatory independent school for preschool through grade twelve, located in Montgomery County, Maryland. Grades 3-12 are located on the Postoak Road Campus at 8804 Postoak Road in Potomac, Maryland. The Potomac Village Campus (Lower School campus), for preschool through grade 2, is located at 10033 River Road in Potomac, MD. St. Andrew's balanced program challenges and support students, encouraging development of their full potential.
==General information==

As of 2011, Total enrollment is 527, with an average of 12 students per class and a student to faculty ratio of 6:1.
Upper School students normally take five major academic courses per year. Courses include English, History, Language, Mathematics, and Science. In addition, Religion is required once each year. The whole school runs on a trimester schedule, each trimester lasting 12 weeks. Both year-length and trimester-length classes are available.
St. Andrew’s participates in the Bethesda Independent Schools’ Consortium that enables the school to extend its course offerings. Admission to a consortium course is competitive and open to eligible seniors. Each seminar meets three times per week before school. Students also attend one evening seminar per month to meet with experts related to the topics covered.

The school is also a member of College Entrance Examination Board, Cum Laude Society, National Association of College Admissions Counseling, National Association of Independent Schools, National Association of Episcopal Schools, and Potomac & Chesapeake Association of College Admissions Counseling. It is fully accredited by the Association of Independent Maryland Schools, Maryland State Department of Education, and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Advanced Placement classes are available in 14 different disciplines.
